About Us
Young Visionary & Founder
This Organization was birthed from the vision and frustration of the youth. Late Hip-Hop Artist Isaiah “Ohana Da Goat” Williams looked around and asked, “What do we need, how can we break these cycles, where do we start? He sat down with a pin and a heavy heart….and Developing Opportunities & Pursuing Equality was Born!
He believed that Majority of today's youth issues stem from the Drug Era where things like Mass incarceration, Economic decay, declines in communal leadership, broken homes, and shattered dreams began to rise. He believed that in order for him and his peers to elevate above the systematic oppression and cycles, they needed to:
1. Be met in the heart of their circumstances
2. Correspond in a language they can understand.
3. Be heard which means becoming advocates, and decision makers in their own healing and rescue.
In the Absence of the Late Isaiah "Ohana Da Goat" Williams, we bring you D.O.P.E. With hopes that the brotherhood will spread through communities the same way drugs did in the 70's,80's and 90's.
